YOLO!!!

Its H here to tell you YOLO!!!

now that i have that over with, Id like to tell you, (the public) about reading. READING!!! heres the thing about reading; reading=words. words=knowledge. knowledge=poooower. so reading gives you POWWWWWWER!!!

alright. now that im done with that, I wanted you to know about nick.com. its a kid friendly website where you can play a ton of really cool games and make an avatar. I am tallymark9, just so ya know.  ;) (in honor of a character in The Uglies.) I like the game super brawl 2. ITZ SO FUN!!! check. it. out!

alright, another thing is my reading group. I knowz, i already talked about reading. whatever!!! my blog, my rules!!! by anyway, my reading group is me and my friend (I don't ever. ever. ever. EVER! List names.) who sit together during recess and  read-eat. fun. we also talk about the book at lunch. We Enjoy having "intelligent conversations."  :D We are on the second book, Sand Dollar Summer, in which a girls mom gets in a car accident and she has to move to maine.

more, you say? yes, more. there are 2 really awful girls in my class. One only has like, 2 friends, so I just can ignore her. One, however, is really awful and yet she is so popular, everyone (literally everyone even the really sour kids who everyone hates can talk to her) likes her. Half of the time she is saying, "My life sucks, nobody likes me, I am depressed, why wont you do stuff for me, BLAH BLAH BLA!!" and the other half she says "I am rich I live in a gigantic condo and I love everyone and everything YAY!!!" I do not understand how everyone likes her. I DO NOT. I only have one friend who sees right through her... I talk to her a bunch. but even teachers like that snob! They are always like, "oh your such an angel we will shower you with praise yayayayayay!!" I see right through that EVIL MASK!!!  I just needed to tell this to the world.

BYE, MY PRECIOUS YOLOS!!!

P.S.- this took 3 weeks to write.

7. went to the Air and Space Museum
8. went to the  uss midway museum
9. went to various restaurants and explored the beautiful town
10. I blogged!!!

Posting from the laptop again, of course. I can't bring a computer!!! Im not used to this laptop typing/copying/pasting, so please use the links I provided, or at least just use them, cuz they took half an hour to put up.   anyway, I reaaaaaaaaally think this hotel I am staying in is the bomb. its the best, the greatest, so RELAXING!!!   I am going to give you my opinion on everything on the list. here I go...

                                                                             Hotel
so cool. and relaxing. i won't give you too much, it would not mater anyway cuz I'm not saying what hotel it is, but this is such a beautiful and relaxing hotel... wow. It is on a hill, and since I live in a flat flat flat place, the mountains and huge cliffs were both scary and beautiful. The only change i was not ok with was the lack of lights- i live in the city and if you look out your window there are always lights a-blazing, even in the middle of the night. driving in the very dark roads were terifying at night. The pool was salt water and so cool, but if you open your mouth or swallow a bit of water you will be choking for hours. but I am NOT ungrateful- San Diego is a BEAUTIFUL city and there were plants... EVERYWHERE!!! WOW!!!! (again. its the city thing...)

                                                             Scripps Birch Aquarium
Wow. It was really fun for all ages. the fish were beautiful. There was a bunch of different types, too- eels, fish, sharks, octopus, jellies... so much of all of them!!! you get to see baby animals too.  We got to go to a tide pool and touch sea cucumbers, (which are squishy little slug things. so cute!) starfish, crabs, lobsters, and a few fish if you could reach them. It had a lot of exhibits and really cool things to learn, I wish we could go back. If you are lucky you can see the show in which a guy goes under into a huge tank and feeds monster sized fish. so cool. so fancy. so great. Had so much to do... takes at least a few hours.

                                                                  Zoo Adventure Park
Really amazing. 6 stars!!! possibly the best thing we did. There was a lot to do and we did most of it! You HAVE to do either the sky ride (where you go zip lining over two thirds of a mile 140 feet up. beautiful!) or the jungle ropes (you climb over a bunch of the park about 10 feet up at certain times. for people with a fear of nights, though my mom, ho is terrified of hight, went on the sky ride and really enjoyed). We also got to go on these HUGE carts that were colourful and  awesome and see beautiful animals like a goat that from one angle looked just like a unicorn (thought to be the source of the myth) and a bunch on tiny little cute deer. There even was a rhino and it's baby!!! SO CUTE.  The entire zoo had this positive feeling to it- it wasn't to crowded like disney or universal, was a perfect temperature and it felt like the park was so... not commercial. I felt like I was at home.

                                                                           Seaworld
Not my favorite, to tell the truth. It felt really commercial- every ride and exhibit ended in a gift shop.  The rides were fun but we could only go on 3 because we did not want to get wet in 75 degree weather. GO IN THE SUMMER. There are plenty of food and shop booths (thats right, you don't need to bring ur own take-out here!) There was a tide pool but it was lame. The rides were good. only good. one ride that I forget the title of (you ride in a yellow boat) was fun, though it lasts exactly 1 min 30 sec and had a 15 minute wait. so... 1 min of ride=10 min of waiting. not too bad... I guess. Another ride that was particularly fun was a ride that you get to sit in a cart and go up up up up for a few minutes. it was fun, but if you do not have the fast pass (15$ per person) then you will have to wait FOREVER.  I saw 2 shows, one with Shamu the famous killer whales. It was all fun (really fun! it beats staying home or going to a party of restaurant any day!!!) but felt commercial and crowded.

                                                                    Air and Space!!!
Fun! We saw a ton of amazing planes, one with a snoopy on top. (snoopy? charlie brown?) There was huge wall (like, 40 feet) filled with explorers and a wall that was a memorial for people who died in an awful plane crash.  :(   The entire place was so cool. I enjoyed it. We got to go in a flight simulator (we got to go on double time) and watched 2 funny 4D movies. I got to go on a fun little thing where you sit in a seat and pretend your flying a plane and you can bomb towns (A went crazy with that. yesh, A is my twin, she came) and fly through clowds. CLOWDS!!! You control the plane with a stick drive and a shooter. It was great and I loved learning about the amazing planes. the3re was a nice caffe on a deck so we could see airplanes go by and It was just... really fun! You can even see a little mini house filled with stuff about flight attendants- what they wore, how they have changed over the years, how to be a flight attendant, edc... REALLY FUN!!!

                                                               USS Midway Museum
Wow. I really liked it! It is a huge aircraft carrier that fought in the navy. The entry is dark and gray and filled with old guys (yes, old guys) who are DYING to tell you about when they fought in the navy on the same ship. If you go bellow deck, you can see a bunch of really interesting scenes and rooms like the engine room, the brig, (the jail) the hospital, and a bunch of rooms they slept in. It was really interesting to learn about the harsh conditions that the people who worked in the engine room had- they had to climb through pipes, live in 120 degree temperatures and only had tiny little bunks stacked on top for a room so if you lifted your head you would bang it on a celling or another bunk. The brig was cool, too. GROSS!! but cool. :3 There was a nice little flight caffe. on the top was an AMAZING assortment of fighter planes!!! you could even sit in some of them!!! WOW! You got to actually learn about how they landed the planes on the carrier. (an old guy told us all about it.)  If you were ok with waiting in a line then you can see the top (which I sadly couldn't cuz we had a flight to catch) which I believe as a ton of stuff to explore too. Lastly, on the middle level, there is a bunch (like, 8) of flight motion thingys. Its just like the motion ride you do at the air and space, but every lurch and turn and flip you do feels like your in the plane doing it. since the planes are hard to control you have a little test thing, but you know somebody forgot to practice when the moment they get in the box starts spinning around and around. I went on a motion one where you don't fly the plane, go upside down or shake violently but you do tip a lot and you feel like your riding. best part- IT WAS 4-D!!! so when the plane tipped to the left air would come out of a secret valve. The entire visit was amazing, i would definitely go back. Possibly the best thing we did!!!

The plane trip was boring and stuff, but hey. what can you do!?! I am finally home. I missed you, home!!! well...  I have been typing alot. my fingers need a break!

until next post...
